What is Yucatán Country Lakes?
Yucatán Country Lakes is an 1,100-hectare master plan north of Mérida: an 18-hole, par-72 golf course designed by Greg Letsche, more than 50 hectares of lakes, and interconnected residential, commercial, educational, and service areas. The master plan is by EDSA and the clubhouse architecture by Artigas Arquitectos. It won the LADI Award for Best Master Plan in Latin America 2026.
Where is it located?
At Km 5.5 between Ucú and Chuburná, in the Municipality of Hunucmá, Yucatán — midway between Mérida and the sea: 12 km from the beaches of Chuburná, 20 km from Mérida's Periférico ring road, and 50 km from the international airport.
What are the ways to invest in or belong to Country Lakes?
Three ways: single-family residential lots within Boma's six ecosystems (Ophidia, Serona, Borus, Augusta, Riviera, and The Village); development parcels of 1 to 12 hectares for developers who build their own project on the master-plan platform; and Golf Club shares, which can be acquired with or without a lot.
What is a development parcel (macrolote) and what can I build on it?
A development parcel is a 1-to-12-hectare tract for building your own project within Country Lakes, with five land uses (low, medium, and high density, vertical multifamily, and commercial). You receive the EDSA master plan, the governing architecture, the golf course, the master-condominium amenities, and legal certainty already resolved.
What legal certainty backs the investment?
The development operates under an Invex Trust, with an Environmental Impact Statement (MIA) approved by SEMARNAT, an authorized Supporting Technical Study (ETJ), a condominium property regime with individual notarized title deeds, and municipal, state, and federal authorizations.
How do you access the Golf Club?
Access to the Golf Club is by share or membership. The Golf Club share can be acquired with or without a lot, making it one of the three ways to belong to Country Lakes. The course is 18 holes, par 72, with an academy and a clubhouse designed by Artigas.
Can I request a lot quote online?
